11 a.m. CDT
8 a.m. Graduates arrive at The Chicago Theatre and enter through the side entrance on Benton Place at State Street (The Chicago Theatre Alley on the south side of the theater). The door you will enter through is the one with a black awning that says, Chase Lounge.
9 a.m. Graduate rehearsal begins
10 a.m. Guests allowed to enter venue.
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Ceremony.
A livestream link will be available for those unable to attend the ceremony in Chicago. The link will be available on this website on the day of the ceremony.
Location, parking & transportation options
The Chicago Campus Commencement Ceremony will take place at The Chicago Theatre.

LOOP STREET CLOSURES EXPECTED. Please note there will be several street closures due to the Chicago SKETCHERS Hot Chocolate Run; the street closures for the 2025 run can be found here: Hot Chocolate Run Map & Street Closures.
Utilizing public transit is strongly encouraged as The Chicago Theatre is conveniently located near several L train stations. If traveling by car, allow extra travel time. We will provide updated information when it’s available.
Parking garage with Adler discounted rate at InterPark Garage, 20 E. Randolph at the corner of Randolph/Wabash. You can receive a $17 validation sticker to park for 12 hours.
Validation stickers will be available in the main lobby of The Chicago Theatre from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Bring your parking ticket with you to receive a validation sticker.
Accessibility
- Complete this Access Service Request or email DisabilityOffice@adler.edu by October 27 if you have accessibility needs.
Tickets
- Each graduate will receive nine general admission digital tickets. (One ticket for the graduate and eight for their guests.)
- Since guests and graduates will be arriving separately, coordinate with your graduate in advance to ensure tickets are transferred to you. Screenshots, images or printed copies of the tickets will not allow entry.
- At least one guest will need to use a smartphone to download tickets to their digital Wallet, which will be scanned when entering the theater.
- All guests, 2 years and older, must have a ticket with a unique barcode scanned upon entrance to the venue.
- Although you will see a seat number on the ticket, there is no assigned seating. All tickets are general admission.
