Degree Completion & Graduation Application Due Date for 2022 Summer and Fall Terms

This email is being sent to all Adler Chicago and Online campus students. If you are not completing degree requirements during the Summer 2022 and Fall 2022 term, please disregard.

(1) Graduation applications for students completing degree requirements during the Summer and Fall 2022 term are due Monday, March 7, 2022. Please note applications received after this date are subject to a $50 late fee.
(2) Your degree cannot be conferred without the application. There is no fee to submit your application on time.
(3) If you are completing degree requirements during the Spring 2022 term, please complete your application as soon as possible as they are past due.
(4)  The application is available in Self-Service. Please see the Graduation Overview option.
(5)  Please see the instructions attached to this message for complete details and before completing the application.
(6) Once you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email to your Adler e-mail account. Please review and retain this email as it contains important information and it covers many questions students might have.
(7) If you are not completing degree requirements in Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 term, please do not submit your application. It will be deleted and you will need to resubmit. Details regarding future graduation applications will be sent at a later date.
(8) The Student Affairs team, studentaffairs@adler.edu, will send information regarding the 2022 commencement ceremony, tickets, and regalia. Please continue to check your Adler email account for details.


IMPORTANT REMINDER REGARDING THE GRADUATION APPLICATION:

When completing your graduation application, please be sure to select the correct campus and term:

Select the term in which you anticipate you will complete degree requirements, NOT the term in which the ceremony occurs: Chicago Campus students (including Online CMHC), please select one of the following terms:

Chicago Campus Spring 2022 Grad App – if you are completing degree requirements in Spring 2022
Chicago Campus Summer 2022 Grad App – if you are completing degree requirements in Summer 2022
Chicago Campus Fall 2022 Grad App – if you are completing degree requirements in Fall 2022 

Online Campus Students, please select one of the following terms:

Online Campus Spring 1 2022 Grad App – if you are completing degree requirements in Spring 1 2022
Online Campus Spring 2 2022 Grad App – if you are completing degree requirements in Spring 2 2022
Online Campus Summer 1 2022 Grad App – if you are completing degree requirements in Summer 1 2022

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:

Chicago Campus:

Commencement participation guidelines are determined at the program level.  Please be sure to connect with your Program Director to find out what academic milestones must be complete before completing your graduation application.

Per the PsyD department, PsyD students who are only earning their Clinical MA are not eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony. Please connect directly with your Department Chair if you have questions.

Online Campus Students:

Currently students must complete degree requirements by the end of the Fall 2 term in the calendar year of the commencement ceremony. Please see your Program Director if you have additional questions regarding your eligibility to participate in the commencement ceremony.


KEEP YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION CURRENT:

Please keep your address and personal email address up to date.  You will receive important commencement information to your address, Adler email account, and personal email account on record.  If you need to update your address, phone number, and personal e-mail, please do so via Self-Service on Adler Connect.

Please note when updating your address, your new address will not reflect right away, please allow up to three business days for your new address to reflect and for your old address to be removed in Self-Service.

Details regarding the commencement ceremony is communicated by the Student Affairs team, studentaffairs@adler.edu, and posted to their page on Adler Connect (https://connect.adler.edu/studentservices/studentaffairs/Pages/commencement.aspx) and the commencement website, https://commencement.adler.edu/. Please connect directly with the Student Affairs team, studentaffairs@adler.edu, if you have additional questions about the ceremony, tickets, or regalia. 

Student Affairs will provide additional details regarding the ceremony, ticket allocation, and regalia as the ceremony approaches. Please continue to check your Adler email for details. Many of you will have questions about ticket allocation. Ticket allocation will be determined by the number of graduation applications submitted. This is why it is critical to submit your application by the deadline.
